The inaugural ceremony of the Guizhou college students entrepreneur support program opened on December 4 in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
The program is initiated by the Guizhou Provincial Science Department, the Communist Youth League of Guizhou and Guizhou Entrepreneur's Home Management Company.
The program plans to put a total of 30 million yuan ($4.85 million) in 2015 into student entrepreneur projects in Guizhou. The amount will be increased to 100 million yuan in 2016, and 500 yuan in 2018.
In recent years, the Guizhou government has given large support to student entrepreneur projects. For instance, to date, the Guizhou Provincial Science Department has invested 11 million yuan in supporting student business ideas, and the program jointly launched by the three parties will surely bring more support to student start-ups.
