From August 6, 2016 to August 12, 2016,The First Affiliated   Hospital of our university and The Korean“Vision Care” Organization co-organized the “Vision Care”activity of 2016.

In this activity,The hospital fully implement the national spirit of “take targeted measures to help people lift themselves out of poverty” and brought into full play the public welfare of the hospital ,also first time tried to expand  the scope of activity.Through the form of “go out”,The First Affiliated Hospital of our university drove Xifeng County Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine, Puding County Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine into the public welfare activities and provided of free medical examine to 493 patients with eye diseases ,among them, 325 were   from Guiyang City, 110 were from Puding County and 58 were from Xifeng County.More than 500 copies of the “Handbook  of cataract health promotion” were issued and this activity has achieved good social benefits.

Cataract surgery was performed in 110 patients for free in this activity,11 were from Puding Country,9 were from     XiFeng Country and 91 were from other regions, the eldest of them were 91 years old, the youngest were 16 years old,thosesurgeries were successfuland theirpostoperative recovery were good.

With the strongly supported and helped by The Foreign Affairs Office of Guizhou Province and the Office of Science   Education in GuizhouProvince, with the good cooperation betweenuniversityand hospital, the activities compl-eted  successfully.
