By the introduction of International Department of Science and Technology Association of Guizhou province, the Mission of Innovation Incubation Center of Taiwan Chia Nan University of Pharmacy and Science Technology, with 11 representatives, came to our Huaxi campus town for exchanges and visits on May 23, 2015.

At 4:30 p.m, a grand and warm forum was held in the meeting room of Basic Medical School on the fifth floor of B5 building. Wang Nianping, the vice president of Communist Party Committee of Guiyang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Zhang Jun, the deputy of Personnel Department, Zhang Yongping, the deputy of Science Research Department, Xi Jin, the deputy of The Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, Dong Dengxiang, the director of Medicine School and other forty experts from School of Medicine and School of Acupuncture and Tuina attended the meeting.

In the seminar, Ms. Wang Nianping gave a warm greeting to the Compatriots from Taiwan on behave of college and introduced the basic situation of our college briefly. Chen Fuxiong, the leader of the mission, the eighth and ninth Director of Acupuncture Association of Gaoxiong city, American Acupuncturists, chief consultant of Taiwan Chia Nan University of Pharmacy and Science Technology, and Zhen Shuncheng, the Chinese medicine doctor of Hong Kong, general manager of Tiangu Xiang Industry Limited Company, the second director of Chinese Institute of Medicinal Plants, consultant of Taiwan Chia Nan University of Pharmacy and Science Technology, explored and sought for the training ways and approaches to promote medical care and pharmaceutical and health protection respectively with the leaders and experts of our college on the themes of Ethnic Medicine — Acupuncture Meridian and Health Function of Medicinal Plants. Professor Zhou Hanhua from School of Medicine, vice professor Sun Qingwen and professor Wang Xinggui from School of Acupuncture and Tuina gave their opinions respectively in the meeting. At the end of the seminar, Zhang Yongping, the deputy of Science Research Department, representing our university, expressed a sincere desire to deepen our cooperation and communication at the next stage. The seminar end in the harmony and friendly atmosphere.

The activity has set a good beginning of mutual trust and understanding between our university and Taiwan Chia Nan University of Pharmacy and Science Technology, which is of great significance on the aspects of strengthening to run a school with open mode, promoting cultural education and communication of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
